telehealth therapy

for high-achieving, anxious working moms in north carolina

Hi, I’m Morgan.

I’m a psychologist serving anxious and stressed working moms in north carolina.

Being a working mom can feel like carrying the weight of the world. Career demands, family responsibilities, and the constant pressure to “do it all” leaves you feeling drained and struggling to be mentally present. If you’re successful on the outside but anxious, overwhelmed, or exhausted on the inside, you’re not alone. Many high-achieving women are accomplished, capable, and deeply committed to their careers and their families, yet feel overwhelmed, emotionally drained, or stuck in cycles of worry and self-criticism.

As a psychologist, I aim to help working moms understand their anxiety, manage stress and intrusive thoughts, and develop healthier ways of relating to themselves and their roles. Therapy is collaborative and tailored to the unique pressures faced by professional women balancing motherhood and work. I offer a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can slow down, understand what you’re feeling, and learn practical tools to feel more grounded in your values and mentally present at work and at home.

Better manage anxious or intrusive thoughts

Have you noticed how hard it is to stay mentally present with your family when your mind is preoccupied with work? Or how anxious, intrusive thoughts about your kids can surface while you’re trying to focus on your job? In therapy, we’ll work together to understand the patterns driving your anxiety and practice practical strategies to help you navigate anxious moments more effectively.

Therapy may help you to…

live according to your values

Anxiety, intrusive thoughts, and the constant demands of work and family can make it hard to live in a way that reflects what you value most. In therapy, we’ll work collaboratively to clarify what truly matters to you, understand what’s been standing in the way, and build strategies that help you move forward with greater intention, balance, and self-compassion.

improve your relationships and communication

When life feels overwhelming, relationships are often the first place stress shows up, typically through irritability, emotional distance, or difficulty communicating. In therapy, we’ll work together to notice unhelpful patterns, clarify the kind of partner, parent, or friend you want to be, and take small, meaningful actions aligned with those values, even when emotions run high.
